Job Description
Reporting to Contract Management; Managing an Engineering team to complete Planned and Reactive maintenance within Contract SLA’s. Completing site and Engineer audits to ensure contracts and work are being delivered to the required standards. Working to company processes and procedures and ensuring good Health and Safety practices.
Location
Key Responsibilities
1. The review of site allocations with the Contracts Manager.
2. Ensuring the OOH on-call rota is maintained.
3. Managing and chairing daily conference calls with the team.
4. To provide a technical point of contact for the team’s responsible sites.
5. Ensure reactive and planned maintenance tasks achieve their SLA’s.
6. To maintain personal and professional development of engineers to meet the changing demands of the job and encourage and support engineers in their development and training.
7. Maintaining and championing professionalism and customer care.
8. Support Sales & Mobilisation with new business opportunities and awards.
9. Adhere to Company and external relevant Health and Safety laws and policies.
10. Assist the engineering team on out of hours work when the business or client requires.
11. Compiling reports for customers as necessary.
12. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be determined by the company.
Necessary Skills
1. Electrically or mechanically qualified or plumbing to recognised level i.e., C & G.
2. Happy to work in a "hands on" capacity.
3. Minimum of five years Building Services Experience.
4. Previous experience of supervising staff and sub-contractors.
5. A professional approach recognising customer needs.
6. Teamwork ethos and problem-solving ability.
