Limes Medical Centre currently has two salaried GP vacancies.
A four session post Thursday, Friday (AM & PM) and a newly created six session post, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (AM & PM).
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our forward-thinking and supportive team.
The practice has a strong focus on continuous development and improvement at all levels.
Main duties of the job
* To deliver high-quality medical care for both acute and chronic conditions from our main surgery in Alfreton and our branch surgery in Blackwell.
* To complete home visits as needed. Locally we have the support of a commissioned service (Team Up) to support with home visits.
* On call and on-call cover when required.
* Review test results and action.
* Complete paperwork and admin.
* To work efficiently and collaboratively with the wider team.
* To support both medical students and the GP registrars.
* To continually commit to professional development.
* To be involved in quality improvements.
* Attend regular practice meetings.

Limes Medical Centre has a wide-ranging skill mix to include GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Practice Manager, Practice Nurses, HCAs and a full administrative support team.
We work closely within our PCN (South Hardwick) working with a wealth of ARRS roles including First contact Physios, Pharmacists, Social Prescribers and a Mental Health Practitioner.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
£11,500 a session. Increase to £12,000 following successful probation period.
