Our client, one of the world's foremost manufacturers in their field, has a new job opportunity for a Finance Manager to join their paisley site.
Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing a small finance team and all aspects of financial management to provide the necessary support and expertise to assist in the control and achievement of the company's sales and profit objectives.
Responsibilities will be varied and include:
* Production of monthly management accounts
* Collation of subsidiary company accounts (UK and Ireland) and submission to group head office
* Treasury Management to group policies and reconciliation of numerous bank accounts and to be a signatory.
* Management of accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable functions, bad debt provisions
* Management of cost accounting, stock control, stock provisions, amortisation of demonstration stock
* Management of a team of 5 people based in Paisley.
* Management of company insurances, pension, and related matters
* To be the point of contact to support the management of each business in all matters financial, legal, property and company secretarial
* Ensure that all companies house accounting filing dates and reporting requirements are met and adhered to
* Management of audit requirements, production and filing of statutory accounts
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be professionally qualified or qualified by experience with previous experience of working in a similar role in a commercial business (ideally within the manufacturing sector).
Furthermore, you will possess the ability to adhere to deadlines and adopt a challenging approach to delivering robust, accurate financial data and information to meet business needs.
You will possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business and be capable of providing meaningful insight to support decision-making.
