Our client, JamPot Productions is hiring a full-time Producer to work on their hugely successful "Wednesdays' podcast, and with the experience and potential to expand their portfolio to other shows on the JamPot slate.
This Producer role requires someone with creativity and ideas, attention to detail and strong organisational skills. It will suit someone who is confident working with a variety of on-mic talent and who has experience across both audio and video.
This role works closely with an Executive Producer, Assistant Producer, Videographer(s), Audio Engineer, Social Media Manager and on-mic/on-camera talent.
Role & Responsibilities
* Lead on in-studio and on-location recording sessions, working closely with on-mic talent to get the best out of them and producing all content to the highest standard.
* Edit top quality audio and video podcasts.
* Take responsibility for the podcasts you are producing, having oversight of each episode from pre-production right through to release.
* Manage timelines for your podcasts and production workflows, communicating and collaborating with the team and on-mic talent.
* Lead on future direction/ideas for your podcasts.
* Plan, script, book guests and generate weekly content.
* Work with sponsors to bring their adverts to life creatively in the voice of the podcast, using clear and timely communication and building positive relationships.
* Produce and edit sponsored reads and branded segments, including some scripting.
* Work with the team to generate ideas, pitches and pilots for future shows.
* Contribute to a collaborative, kind and professional work environment.
Skills, Experience & Attributes
* Experienced audio producer on interview/chat shows; narrative experience or similar would also be useful.
* Ability to edit audio to a high standard.
* Basic to intermediate knowledge of video editing (Premiere Pro), and willingness and interest to learn and improve quickly.
* Confident working with celebrity talent.
* Creative and organised.
* Enthusiasm for podcasts and the creation of digital content.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent, clear communication skills.
Salary
The salary for this role is between £32,000 and £40,000 depending on the experience of the successful candidate.
