Working hours: 07:00 - 15:30 Monday - Friday
Reporting to the UK Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) Manager your role responsibilities will include:
1. Help to develop the Health and Safety systems, practices, and culture across the entire business.
2. Gain an in-depth knowledge of operational practices and procedures.
3. Develop a good working relationship within the operational teams.
4. Be able to develop the safety culture within the factory environment and the wider business.
5. Create appropriate documentation and training material to assist with on-site training regarding Health and Safety (H&S) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) programs.
6. Communicate, train, and implement required safety, technical, environmental, and operational procedures at all levels.
7. Provide guidance to employees to ensure their understanding and adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
8. Ensure all employees are aware of their safety responsibilities and offer assistance as needed.
9. Organize and conduct risk assessments and assist in the preparation of the necessary documentation.
10. Perform regular safety checks to ensure compliance with company safety regulations.
11. Collaborate with department managers to investigate accidents and compile information.
12. Ensure that all contractors possess the required documentation for review purposes.
13. Help maintain compliance reporting and H&S procedures.
14. Manage audit documents and follow up on necessary actions.
15. Support facility safety measures, including testing fire alarms, inspecting fire equipment, and coordinating mandated safety inspections.
16. Conduct monthly safety inspections of equipment such as fire extinguishers and first aid kits, along with routine site evaluations.
17. Assist with compliance-related safety tasks, including fire risk assessments and equipment inspections.
18. Support for health and safety initiatives throughout the organization and report any concerns to the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager.
19. Coordinate the ordering and replenishment of personal protective equipment and first aid supplies.
20. Maintain up-to-date information on the site’s Health and Safety notice boards.
21. Support the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
