The post holder will be part of a specialist team to provide a maintenance, testing and validation service for all medical decontamination equipment within the Trust. This includes sterilisers, disinfectors, steam clean systems, plant equipment and other specialist equipment described in the Job Description in this advert. Main duties of the job The post holder will carry out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, testing and validation on all medical device decontamination equipment as listed above to ensure medical devices for invasive procedures are decontaminated in compliance with HTM01-01 and HTM-2030. The post holder will provide a planned and breakdown repair service on all complex engineering services associated with decontamination equipment and respective specialist accommodation.
