Title: Software Solution Sales Account Executive
Location: Any location in the UK.

Mission: The Digital Energy business defines, creates, and implements digitized offers and services for the Building industry. As part of the Digital Energy business, the Building Enterprise Solutions Team drives the expansion of our Digital Energy portfolio with new and existing Enterprise customers, who are typically Fortune businesses and strategic accounts. As a member of this team, you will report to the Building Enterprise Solutions Senior Director and closely collaborate with a global team that includes Segment leaders, Strategic account executives, Business Developers, Category Offer Managers, and Country leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Driving the promotion and adoption of Digital Building Enterprise Software including Planon solutions to our key segments and Enterprise end-user customers.
2. Hunting end-user engagements within new and existing Schneider Electric accounts.
3. Developing a sound financial business plan when presenting and closing opportunities.
4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation activities.
5. Developing a strategic plan to grow the business by identifying target customers/segments with the highest growth potential.
6. Directly manage the commercial team and resources associated.
7. Effectively lead the sales, commercial, presales and solutions activities within the team focused on clear targets and defined outcomes.
8. Developing the 30/60/90-day action plan along with a long-range market strategy for offer growth and competitive positioning.
9. Manage effective commercial engagement for the crafting of specific offerings appropriate to customer needs.
You must be:
1. Experienced in consultative selling and competent in software digital sales and SaaS model.
2. Externally client focused and possess strong listening capabilities.
3. A sales hunter versus farmer.
4. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Motivated, accountable, and proactive.
6. Able to adapt and perform in a fast moving and often-changing environment.
7. A risk taker, entrepreneurial, and a team player.
Skills and attributes:
1. A very solid experience in a business development, sales or account management role selling software/digital/technology solutions.
2. Strong background selling SaaS/Cloud solutions.
3. Outstanding quota attainment history and track record, with a focus on acquiring new customers and growing into new markets.
4. Strong understanding of the IWMS and enterprise software landscape and the ability to articulate its value proposition to potential clients is highly desirable.
5. A good understanding of and passion for Cloud, IoT/edge, Big Data, Digital Twin, AI, Predictive/Prescriptive Analytics, Smart Building solutions and emerging enterprise technologies.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with prospective customers.
7. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies and drive business growth.
8. A self-starter, able to work to develop new/existing client engagements through the entire sales cycle with an ambitious and proactive mindset, and a passion for driving sales and exceeding targets.
