Proven experience in a financial management role, ideally as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior position Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating an accounts team Experience in the transport sector and relevant industry experience would be a distinct advantage Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or similar qualification preferred Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting Excellent written and verbal communication skills A good attention to detail Critical thinking and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively What will your role look like? Lead and manage the accounts team of three across two group companies Oversee financial operations and contribute to strategic financial decisions Ensure the smooth running of accounts and financial reporting Take charge of a combined turnover of £6m per year What can you expect in return?
