Purpose of the Role
The main purpose of the Loading bay officer role is to efficiently run and maintain an organised loading bay, offering assistance to all delivery drivers who are delivering or collecting items from the estate, maintain smooth operation of the service yard and the car park areas; sharing and understanding of the client’s vision of the development to deliver these values. Keep service yard, walk ways and corridors clean and tidy.
Key Responsibilities
To work closely with the Estate Manager and all other employed staff and service providers within the development in ensuring that the highest standards at the properties are maintained at all times.
Where applicable, to ensure detailed handover notes are written and made available to the relevant department supervisor.
To answer the phone and on-site intercom system in a professional manner.
To be proficient with all Microsoft applications and Outlook.
To respond to all incoming issues the same day even if a resolution cannot be found.
To diarise any work which needs regular attention in outlook and follow up accordingly.
To ensure calendars are kept up to date with all regular deliveries, meetings and appointments, utilising outlook or any other application as needed.
To be proficient with the onsite handbook and associated documents relating to the site and refer to as often as required
