We are seeking a nurturing, dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to support our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team, within the Reception Class. You will work closely with the class teacher to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Location: Barrowford
Role: Full-time (8.30am – 3.30pm)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality, play-based learning activities.
- Assist with the daily routines of the classroom, including snack times, toileting, and transitions.
- Work one-to-one and in small groups with children to support learning and development.
- Observe and record children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
About You:
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Experience in an EYFS or nursery setting (desirable but not essential).
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning/Early Years).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A nurturing, patient, and positive attitude.
