THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE, ACCEPTING APPLICANTS NATIONWIDE
ROLE PURPOSE
Our clients are looking for an experienced IQA [Internal Quality Assurer] to take ownership over the “Teaching and Education” programmes, particularly Teaching Assistant and Specialist Teaching Assistant. The role will develop and support tutors by monitoring the activities, resources and experience to carry out assessment duties and to take appropriate action when they do not.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To complete learner portfolio samples and lesson observations as directed by the Quality Sampling Plan
To provide developmental feedback to tutors on the portfolio samples and lesson observations
To provide feedback to tutors on learners progress all areas of their qualification and training programme.
Update and maintain the Quality Sampling Plan in own area of responsibility.
To prepare and run standardisation meetings, based on sample findings.
Assist in the management of Awarding Organisations (In conjunction with Quality Assurance Managers) to maintain Direct Claim Status (DCS).
Instilling a culture of quality across all divisions.
Assist with “Deep-Dive” audits of apprenticeship provision to cover curriculum sequencing, employer engagement and 20% off the job training
Development of the 20% OTJT. Ensuring all tutors are planning and recording the 20% off-the-job-training.
Where required to support the Curriculum team in curriculum design
To provide training on the apprenticeship standard to new tutors and sales team Working closely with the Operations Managers to ensure tutors receive the support and guidance required.
Safeguarding Policy, Prevent Duty and British Values implementation and development.
Ensuring they are “Ofsted-ready at all times” Grade 2Contribute to the creation of SAR and monitoring of QIP
To undertake training and CPD as necessary and relevant to the post.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Hold a Qualification in Internal Quality Assurance AND Assessing
Track record of practicing Internal Quality Assurance to raise standards on provision
Experience in onboarding, inducting, training and mentoring delivery staff
Continuing evidence of meeting or exceeding KPI’s in delivery and achievement
