An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Electrical Technician to work as part of the Park Lead Team, within one of the UK’s leading Universities in their Estates & Facilities team. You will work within the Electrical Maintenance team alongside colleagues to support and ensure the completion of reactive and planned maintenance work across the Loughborough University.
Your new role
The Advanced Electrical Technician will be responsible for the delivery of planned preventative and reactive maintenance of the electrical services across the university, ensuring adherence to operational, regulatory and University compliance requirements.
The role is key to maintaining University functions and will assist the Service Manager in leading a team of operational maintenance technicians focusing upon critical, essential, non-essential and asset operational maintenance.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience of managing electrical team
Experienced in compiling job plans, method statements and risk
Familiar with reading and interpreting engineering and building schematic drawings.
Be computer literate, able to read and work with installation drawings, MS excel, MS word.
City and Guilds Electrical Technical Qualifications or equivalent
BS 7671 “current” Edition Requirements for Electrical Installations
