Endoscopy Department

The Endoscopy Unit are currently developing their ERCP and EUS service, to improve the quality and standard of care, for this particular patient group. This role will support the co-ordination of procedure list, associated pre-assessment clinics and revalidation of waiting lists. As part of our wider endoscopy service the post holder will also be involved with the delivery of Cytoscot service.
This is an exciting development, to join an excellent team within a large and expanding Endoscopy Service.
We require a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic individual with relevant current experience working within Endoscopy, but particularly ERCP, EUS and Cytoscot. They will support the clinical team to develop a patient centred approach to assessing, planning and implementing care. They should also possess leadership and mentorship skills to support the nursing team to develop their knowledge and skills.
Suitable candidates should have extensive post registration nursing experience within Endoscopy. The suitable candidate must have a sound knowledge of all areas of Endoscopy and evidence of Endoscopy competency completion. They should be able to work effectively and efficiently in a challenging environment, providing support and guidance to the multidisciplinary team.
You must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to promote and drive change across the service. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate clinical excellence in nursing practice, and evidence of continuous service improvement.
