The role: Reporting to the Brewery Manager and part of the site leadership team, you'll lead environmental and safety (ES) operations and compliance across the site. Your role includes developing and implementing ES initiatives, ensuring legal and corporate compliance, and promoting a safe, sustainable workplace for employees, the community, and the environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead ES programmes and drive continuous improvement Ensure compliance with UK and EU regulations and company standards Manage ES performance metrics and reporting (e.g. injury rates, recycling, hazard reporting) Oversee waste and co-product streams to reduce costs and maximise revenue Direct emergency systems and site security management Coordinate site-wide ES activities and influence key stakeholders Recognise and celebrate ES achievements Flexibility is required, and duties may evolve in line with business needs. Who We’re Looking For: We’re seeking a qualified Environment and Safety professional with a strong background in project and team management, process improvement, and regulatory compliance.
