Job Title: Social Worker – Looked After Children Team

A Children’s Social Worker is required to join Dudley’s Children in Service Team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a close-knit team.
Responsibilities:
As a Social Worker on the Looked After Children Team, you will be completing Children and Family Assessments, Section 47 enquiries, Care Planning and pathway planning. You will complete risk assessments and safety planning, write reports for LAC reviews, and attend PEP meetings. Your role will also involve writing initial court statements and care plans, applying for care orders and revocation of care orders, and engaging in pre-proceedings and care proceedings. Additionally, you will conduct viability assessments and sibling assessments, and work with young people at home on care orders or in foster care.
Requirements:
You must hold a Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK driving licence, have post-qualified experience, and possess a degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
