Klas Hyllen Architecture is hiring a recently qualified architect/experienced Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in Wiltshire, UK.
We are looking for a new team member to join our Wiltshire studio – to work on several new and exciting residential projects across the South West. We think you are likely recently qualified as an architect, an experienced Part 2 or an architectural technologist.
You will need to love detailing and to think creatively about how our work is constructed, both architecturally, aesthetically and environmentally.
The right candidate will assist in the delivery of high quality, beautifully crafted and bespoke homes. You will support in the day-to-day job running of projects, developing both architecture and interiors.
Your primary tasks will be focused around RIBA stages 3 to 5 in the coordination and delivery of technical information and specifications. You will need to have technical experience, and some experience in leading a design team of consultants and coordinating design information.
Our offices are at Studio Bacchus in the heart of Bradford on Avon. We run Studio Bacchus as an open-plan creative co-work space alongside our architecture practice. As such the office offers the feel of a larger work community. Bradford on Avon is a beautiful historic town along river Avon just outside Bath with a vibrant community and with the countryside on our doorstep. We would like to think that the successful candidate would enjoy a great work-life balance.
The start date is as soon as possible and the position is offered either as full time or on a contract basis. Salary will be discussed directly with the successful candidate and offered based on experience.
A driving licence to drive in the UK is essential.
