What you'll need to succeed
This role is integral in supporting the current team with the Financial Management of the Trust. Together with supporting the onboarding of other new academies joining the trust. The role will cover the year-end Accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, audit queries, month-end processes. Reviewing the current system and processes, ensuring best practice is adhered too.
Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant with experience with the education sector, hands -on technical knowledge, together with managerial skills. Any knowledge of Access Financial Software would be an advantage and good all round finance systems experience in general.
