ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT - KELVEDON - UP TO £33K - OFFICE BASED
A client of ours in the Kelvedon area is recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team. This is a full-time permanent office-based position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm and paying £27,000 - £33,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Assisting in client queries via telephone and email
2. Liaising with suppliers
3. Processing payments
4. Credit checking and processing new business applications
5. Chasing and managing overdue debt
6. Reconciling supplier invoices
7. Daily bank reconciliation
8. Invoicing customers
9. Downloading bank statements and allocating customer payments
10. Processing direct debits
11. Actioning Experian monitoring notifications
12. Any other adhoc duties required by management
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Accounts Assistant position:
1. Accuracy and excellent attention to detail
2. Sage 50 (desirable)
3. Microsoft Office package
4. You must be a driver with your own transport to be considered due to location not being commutable via public transport
5. Previous experience working in an Accounts Assistant role
6. Accountancy qualification beneficial but not essential
