Position summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Market Development Specialist to join our marketing team within the Protein Diagnostics portfolio. This role is pivotal in crafting compelling marketing campaigns from conception to completion to help support our marketing strategies, with a strong emphasis on project management. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with commercial marketing, product management and collaborate with global regions, marketing vendors, and our internal design studio to ensure the development and delivery of high-quality content. Responsibilities include: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help develop strategic marketing plans, including analysis of customer segments, competitor analysis, business trends, and market opportunities. • Build and implement appropriate marketing content across digital channels, including web, video, social media, paid search and display advertising. • Partner with digital marketing colleagues to implement and optimize performance across digital channels. • Support the development of the overall content strategy, finding opportunities for new content formats and channels. • Develop sales force selling tools and customer materials in collaboration with product management, R&D, and commercial teams. • Work closely with regional marketing development managers to deliver marketing campaigns within their regions as well as ad-hoc support Education, experience and skills: • Bachelor’s degree or appropriate experience in a marketing, communications, market development or related-science role 4 years of experience with accomplishments in marketing/marketing communications. • Experience within marketing operations, including budget tracking and processing POs. • Outstanding social skills as well as analytical, project management and planning skills • Able to act in a highly autonomous manner • Consistent record of balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced marketing environment to meet timelines • Previous experience driving marketing campaigns with digital marketing focus. • Be detail oriented - be able to identify and resolve problems and independently complete tasks with attention to detail. • Knowledge of the following key competencies: value proposition development, marketing communication, communication channels, channels-to-market, customer segmentation, voice of customer • Understanding of analytics metrics and how to use them to advise marketing campaign improvements. • Shows good judgment, remains flexible, and quickly responds positively to evolving priorities and circumstances.
