About the firm: A leading UK law firm whose Energy team is recognised for its expertise in advising on a wide range of renewable energy projects is looking to recruit for a 2-7 PQE Renewable Energy Lawyer to join our growing Energy team. The role can be based across several of the firm's offices, including London, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Leicester and Glasgow.
About the role: As part of the role, you will play a key role in providing legal advice and support to clients on a wide range of renewable energy projects, from development and financing to construction and operation. This will include:
1. Power purchase agreements
2. Battery optimisation and tolling contracts
3. Clean energy project developments, acquisitions and disposals
4. Low carbon support regimes
5. Energy supply contracts
6. Biogas offtake arrangements
7. Ofgem licensing, electricity regulation
8. Grid connection arrangements and private wires
About you: You will have 2-7 years of experience in renewable energy law from an equally leading practice. Familiarity with technologies including solar PV, wind, hydro, battery storage, EV charging infrastructure and/or district heating would also be an advantage.
