Sitting within the Global Marketing, Brand and Belonging Directorate, the Student Attraction and Marketing team is the heart of all potential student, student and potential employer (Authorised Training Employer) marketing for ICAEW. This role represents the voice of our students internally and externally, whilst working closely with many colleagues across ICAEW and our agencies.
Role Profile
The Student Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategy and delivery of marketing communications for all ICAEW students. The core remit is to engage, support and motivate our students throughout their studies, with the goal of supporting them up to the point they join ICAEW membership.
Responsibilities include:
* Working with the Senior Marketing Manager, Student Marketing, to develop and implement the marketing strategy to support ICAEW students through their learning journey, with the purpose of bringing them into membership of ICAEW.
* Developing, delivering, and measuring marketing strategies and plans to drive student engagement, to retain, inspire and add value to all ICAEW students on their path to qualification and progression to membership, with innovation, quality and return on investment being key considerations.
* Focusing on content and channel strategies to engage with students, ensuring that output is relevant for our customers across the full suite of ICAEW student audiences, including but not limited to: ACA students in a training agreement, independent ACA students, Level 4 and Level 7 apprenticeship students, ICAEW CFAB students, and BFP students.
* Continually reviewing the performance of marketing strategies, plans, and processes to optimise budget and resources. Using insight to ensure that decisions made meet customer needs, as well as recommending areas of improvement.
* Being the voice of the ICAEW student audience across ICAEW to help deliver student requirements and optimise the student experience.
Candidate Profile
Requirements include:
* Experience in marketing planning and strategy.
* Practical approach to planning, organising, and implementation of marketing plans and activities.
* Ability to apply effective and (where possible) innovative approaches to challenges and opportunities.
* Experience of cross-functional working and building relationships with colleagues and senior stakeholders.
* Results driven, comfortable setting, measuring, analysing and responding to KPI’s.
