Key Responsibilities:&x2022; Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fabrication department, acting as the first point of contact for all operational activities.&x2022; Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and conduct regular audits.&x2022; Organize and prioritize workloads based on the production schedule to meet deadlines and ensure on-time delivery OTIF.&x2022; Provide updates to the Site Manager and team during daily briefs regarding output, quality, and health and safety.&x2022; Ensure all products meet the highest quality standards, addressing and resolving any quality issues promptly.&x2022; Manage and motivate the team, fostering a multi-skilled workforce through training and development.&x2022; Monitor and refine production processes, troubleshoot issues, and adjust schedules to minimize downtime.&x2022; Ensure materials are issued in a timely manner and liaise with the planning department on stock issues.&x2022; Interpret technical drawings and support the team in achieving production goals.&x2022; Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement practices.
