Support Worker Job Description:

Duties:
1. Activity based provider which supports the young person to participate in attending activities such as go-karting, theme parks, ice skating, and many other activities that interest the young person.
2. Assist and support independent living with household tasks.
3. Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities.
4. Monitor and document individual progress and behavior.
5. Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
6. Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times.
Experience:
1. Previous experience working with individuals within social care is preferred but not essential.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Patience, empathy, and compassion for individuals with disabilities.
5. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
