Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support initiatives within the Lead to Order process and tools that we support in IT. You'll be part of a team formed of both internal and external colleagues, based within the IT Group in Cambridge, with two days in the office expected.
You will be a strong delivery partner with a can-do attitude, quick to adapt to Arm’s culture. You will have good attention to detail, careful planning, situational awareness, risk management, and monitoring, in order to maintain project momentum and engage our customers to deliver projects successfully.
You will stand out for this role if you have outstanding people management, interpersonal skills, and domain expertise.
Responsibilities:
1. Run the project lifecycle from the initial setup, including design, build, test, and cutover implementation in line with quality and time.
2. Drive project delivery through day-to-day engagement with agile delivery IT teams and business customers.
3. Lead vendor teams and matrix manage to a high standard.
4. Effectively communicate project status regularly and handle risk accordingly.
5. Take ownership of risks and issues and help to manage prioritization, demonstrating situational leadership.
6. Manage regular status reporting with IT and business stakeholders.
7. Run multiple projects through agile delivery teams of varying size and stages concurrently.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. You will be experienced in Project Delivery and familiar with both waterfall and agile methodologies, with a focus on working with agile delivery teams.
2. You are adaptable, with the ability to flex your style and approach to meet the needs of the Business and the Project.
3. Proficient in key project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Projects.
4. Skilled in handling dependencies across multiple teams globally.
5. Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills; comfortable communicating and collaborating with teams across different disciplines.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
1. Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
2. Knowledge of ITIL and Agile methodologies.
3. Experience working with commercial systems such as Salesforce or SAP or any digital or web platforms.
4. Knowledge of commercial and/or finance business processes.
