Location – Central Support, Hemel Hempstead
What we need, in a nutshell:
In this newly formed role, you will coordinate all operations across the Away Resorts group and be the connecting point between central support and local operations. In addition to this, you will work with the central heads of departments to manage guest and owner experience.

What you’ll be doing:
1. Influence and challenge cross-functionally within the company to deliver a balance of continuous improvement on existing operational systems and processes, alongside positive new operational initiatives.
2. Build, manage and support the delivery of the annual operations plan.
3. Work across proposition development, marketing, and regional operations to manage and drive the delivery of new product launches whilst always looking for ways to build on and improve current ways of working.
4. Coordinate and work closely with the Central Guest & Owner Heads of Department to drive on-park experience and grow incremental spend through BBYL, extensions, and upgrades.
5. Manage the delivery of business-as-usual activity between central support and operations.
6. Work with the Group Operations Director to critically evaluate the current operating model and structure to drive continuous improvement with a balanced view of efficiency and experience.
7. Collaborate with functional leaders to maintain and develop brand standards whilst actively managing risk and compliance.
8. Lead the Away Resorts operational change agenda by being a catalyst for transformational change to shape the future of Away Resorts. This will be delivered in line with our Operational Philosophy.
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need:
1. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
2. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
3. High level of commerciality.
4. Ability to lead a team and inspire teams to success.
5. Agile methodology and mindset.
6. Knowledge of business functions.
7. Solid knowledge of data analytics.
8. Strong mathematical literacy.
9. Experience as a head of operations or in a similar role, along with managing projects through to completion.
