Responsibilities:
* Revenue Growth: Identify, secure, and close business opportunities to drive year-on-year revenue growth.
* Client Engagement: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients, providing excellent pre and post-sales support.
* Market Research: Conduct research on target clients and follow up on leads to identify new business development opportunities.
* Sales Targets: Work diligently to achieve sales targets, providing technical advice and tailored solutions to meet client needs.
* Collaboration: Liaise regularly with the commercial team and other departments, ensuring seamless communication and feedback.
* Technical Expertise: Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and specialised training to client staff as required.
* Market Awareness: Stay informed about competitors and market trends, providing timely feedback for new product ideas and development.
Skills and Experience Required:
* B2B Experience: Ideally with a background in technical sales - any knowledge of renewable energy, water, or specification sales would be advantageous but not essential.
* Team Collaboration: A strong team player who can work effectively with sales, R&D, manufacturing, and logistics departments.
* Proactive Attitude: A positive, can-do attitude with a proactive approach to generating new business and managing existing accounts.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities, capable of engaging with ground-level users, procurement teams, and director-level personnel.
* Driving Licence: A valid driving licence and own vehicle are essential. Business miles are reimbursed according to HMRC guidelines.
