Laboratory Supervisor
East Kilbride main location
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Salary: £32k - 35k based on experience
TM Scotland East Kilbride & Glasgow are thrilled to be partnering with a dynamic new company based in East Kilbride to add an experience Laboratory Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
As a Laboratory Supervisor, you will:
Supervise daily site activities and ensure smooth operations.
Build strong relationships by liaising with clients regularly.
Ensure laboratory technicians are fully trained, conducting training when necessary.
Maintain operational efficiency by ensuring all equipment is calibrated and fully functional.
Enforce adherence to health, safety, and quality procedures and standards.
Compile lab and site reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
Deputize for the Laboratory Manager as required.
Perform any other duties as directed by the Laboratory Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Training:
Minimum GCSE Grade C in Maths & English; Higher Grades desirable.
Full, clean UK driving license is essential.
Knowledge & Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in the construction testing industry.
Strong understanding of industry standards and procedures.
Proven track record of meeting client needs.
Experience engaging with UKAS assessments.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong work ethic and punctuality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
Leadership skills, including team training and development.
Creative and critical thinking abilities.
Attention to detail and professionalism, especially when engaging with clients.
