The Pharmacist Network is a clinically led organization here to support GPs with the delivery of pharmacist and pharmacy tech services. We are currently seeking a registered Pharmacy Technician to work on-site in a General Practice in Durham.
The Role
1. Undertake medicine reconciliations of patient records.
2. Prescribe in line with the practice protocols.
3. Update patient records, support medicine reviews, and synchronization for groups of patients (i.e., care homes).
4. Improve patients' safe use of medicines.
5. Help patients to get the best from their medicines by switching the medications to agreed and approved protocols.
6. Carry out prescribing audits and medicines safety alerts.
7. Support with Structured Medications Review.
The Skills
To join our team, you will have a minimum of 6 months of experience working in a general practice as a registered Pharmacy Technician. You will have a relevant degree/qualification to show you are registered, and you will be a highly focused and motivated individual.
