The ERP Technical Platform Owner is responsible for the oversight, governance and roadmap for the U4ERP Platform and leads key technical initiatives resulting in changes to our U4ERP platform.
You will be accountable for managing multi-environments, design and implementation of interfaces and at application level, ensuring that our governance processes are adhered to in relation to monthly releases and SAAS upgrades. You will keep abreast of key developments that could impact our systems as well as changes in tools, technologies or working practices that can be exploited to improve the services we deliver. This will include APIs and the use of the Unit4 Azure extension kit. In addition, you will ensure that technical integrations and interfaces are robust and adhere to all SJP cloud and SJPIT policies.
You will develop and maintain the interfaces into and out of the application. You will have responsibility for Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and you will work closely with the Cyber team to ensure data and application security.
What you'll be doing:
* Defining a technical Platform roadmap and strategy and maintain the technical product backlog.
* Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders and provide appropriate business challenge as required
* Work closely the ERP Product Owner to deliver the change that they have prioritised.
* Lead the development team responsible to making platform change.
* Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models
* Provide understanding of the U4ERP technology stack to ensure best practises are used with SJPIT on development projects that interface with U4ERP
* Own the relationship between the Unit4 Cloud team, technology teams and support teams
* Manage the Performance and use of PROD and NON PROD environments, including responsibility for NFT and the Database Views and AG16s within the application
* Responsible for the management of Disaster Recovery, BCP and technology upgrades
* Responsible for Release Management and the Change Control process
* Provide Standards and Guidelines for use of U4ERP reporting suite and provide regular progress reports to the Divisional Director of Platforms

Essential Criteria
* A comprehensive understanding of UNIT4ERP, the underlying data model, the database schema and external connectors.
* Deep understanding of UNIT4 ERP platform security, including best practices for business continuity.
* Experience of developing UNIT4 ERP integrations.
* Expert knowledge Unit4 EK (extension kit) and automations
Desirable Criteria
* Working knowledge of JIRA
* Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Special Requirements:
Occasional travel may be required and the need to support system updates and upgrades out of hours
