We are seeking a highly motivated National Account Manager to direct a distinguished portfolio of clients. This dynamic role requires an experienced self-starter who excels at fostering and maintaining trusted relationships. As a commercially savvy individual, you should possess excellent communication skills and be prepared to effectively lead and manage your portfolio from day one.
HOBART Service, a division of the ITW Group within the Food Equipment Sector, proudly supports its customers with the UK's most extensive field service team specialising in the maintenance of catering equipment. We provide a comprehensive suite of services, including the supply of genuine parts and ancillary products. Our Specialist Service Technicians are factory-trained across a range of premier brands, including HOBART, Ecomax, Elro, Maestro and Bonnet, ensuring unparalleled expertise and support in catering equipment maintenance.
Salary: £45-50k pa plus annual business & individual performance related bonus.
What You'll Do:
1. Lead and Innovate: Serve as the principal manager for your portfolio, cultivating strong and credible relationships. As the primary contact, you will spearhead sales initiatives and commercial agreements by collaborating effectively with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to foster success.
2. Drive Strategic Growth: In collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team and your peers, you will be instrumental in enhancing customer retention, expanding business opportunities and securing new business aligned with our strategic objectives. Your efforts will contribute directly to achieving sales KPIs and optimizing return on investment.
3. Develop and Analyse Strategic Plans: Craft detailed portfolio strategies and reports, monitor competitor activities, and provide crucial insights to refine and target future business efforts.
4. Engage and Network: Actively seek out new business opportunities and strengthen integration within the ITW network through strategic networking and engagement.
Who You Are:
1. Experienced in Sales and Account Management: You bring a wealth of experience in food equipment sales or service, equipping you with a deep understanding of the industry’s complexities. This background enables you to forge effective customer relationships and stay attuned to industry trends, customer preferences and the competitive landscape.
2. Strategic and Insightful: Your familiarity with the sector allows you to customise sales strategies adeptly and offer insights that advance your portfolio. You have a proven record of devising and implementing successful sales plans and consistently achieving ambitious revenue targets.
3. Agile and Creative: You excel in identifying opportunities, crafting innovative solutions, and navigating the market to drive substantial results.
4. Skilled Communicator and Relationship Builder: Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills enable you to connect effortlessly with customers, discern their needs swiftly and clearly articulate the value of our products and services.
Key skills:
* Experience in the food equipment, commercial kitchen, or service industry market is essential.
* Proven track record in delivering sales, driving growth & developing the customer relationship.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and trends.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
* Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software.
* Ability to prioritize sales targets while ensuring client satisfaction.
* Experience in the catering industry is a plus.
* Flexibility to travel for client meetings and sales presentations.
* Ideally we like our NAMs onsite 2 days a week.
