BCL Legal is excited to assist a leading global law firm in their search for an experienced Property Lawyer to join their market-leading Energy & Infrastructure Property team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate with 3-7 years' PQE to take on a prominent role within a dynamic, expanding team. The Role
As an Energy & Infrastructure Property Associate, you will:
- Advise on major energy and infrastructure projects, including offshore wind farms, solar, hydrogen, carbon capture, and battery storage developments.
- Manage complex property issues for large-scale infrastructure projects such as road, rail, and flood defence schemes.
- Work closely with clients, including landowners, developers, funders, and investors, on key transactions and projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Assist in business development and manage client relationships, gaining exposure to both the technical and commercial aspects of the work.
- Work on a broad range of property transactions, including advising on land agreements, leases, easements, and grid infrastructure.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will:
- Be qualified in England & Wales with 3-7 years' PQE and experience in energy and/or infrastructure property work.
- Demonstrate strong technical expertise in property law, coupled with commercial awareness and a client-focused approach.
- Be eager to build client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.
- Have a passion for energy and infrastructure projects, with particular interest in the UK's renewable energy sector.
- Be a collaborative team player, with a proactive attitude and strong communication skills.
