Role Responsibility
We have an exciting opportunity for a Case Officer to join the Quality and Standards Team, in a role with a difference! This is a full-time, fixed-term contract until the end of March 2026.
As a Case Officer working alongside people with a wide range of additional care and support needs, you will be responsible for coordinating and conducting service and statutory reviews of care and support provision. These will be completed by viewing supported living houses holistically, which can provide a clearer overview of where needs can be met creatively.
In addition, the Quality and Standards Team is starting to explore how a similar model can be utilized when reviewing residential provision, which will enable full oversight of how people are supported with core hours and additional direct support where needed.
We are looking for a person who will:
1. Inspire and create partnership working.
2. Can evidence person-centered practice and leadership.
3. Encourage conversations that will promote further independence for those we support.
4. Embrace challenge and change.
5. Use a wide range of knowledge to support the team in ensuring we are achieving the best outcomes for both the individual and KCC.
This will be a fast-paced environment with people that are committed and confident. If that’s you, then apply.
The Quality and Standards team works across the whole of Kent, requiring applicants to be able to travel a large geographical area on a regular basis.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position.
