About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Account Director - Heath & Beauty to lead the strategic management of our partnership with Superdrug, and lead sales for the UK market. This is an exciting opportunity to join VidaCorp, a rapidly growing FMCG business specialising in health, wellness and beauty products. As the National Account Director - Heath & Beauty you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing long-term relationships, and executing joint business plans with one of the UK's largest health and beauty retailers, and lead the delivery and expansion of the UK&I sales team. Role & Responsibilities: Act as the lead for the Superdrug account, overseeing all aspects of the partnership, including sales growth, profitability, and market share. Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to meet both Superdrug’s objectives and MCoBeauty’s commercial goals. Foster strong, collaborative relationships with Superdrug’s senior stakeholders, including category managers, buyers, and marketing teams. Regularly review account performance, identify opportunities for growth, and manage risks to ensure a healthy and long-lasting partnership. Own and deliver on annual sales targets, ensuring both revenue growth and profitability across the Superdrug portfolio. Identify and pursue joint business planning opportunities to maximize product listings, improve shelf presence, and introduce new products. Analyse sales data, category performance, and market trends to make data-driven decisions that support growth. Drive the execution of promotional plans, including in-store promotions, digital campaigns, and seasonal product launches. reporting along with regular updates on the annual plans. Work closely with marketing, innovation, eCommerce, category, and supply chain teams to ensure effective execution of go-to-market strategies for the Superdrug account. Liaise with the product development team to align new product launches with Superdrug’s needs, ensuring product differentiation and exclusivity where necessary. Collaborate with the trade marketing team to drive strong point-of-sale (POS) campaigns and maximize brand visibility in-store and online. Develop accurate sales forecasts, working closely with the finance and supply chain teams to ensure accurate demand planning and stock levels. Manage the trade spend budget to optimize promotional investments and achieve strong ROI. Monitor account profitability, adjusting strategies and trade terms to ensure financial targets are consistently met. Skills & Experience: 8 years of account management experience, ideally within the FMCG or cosmetics industry. Proven track record of managing major retail accounts, with specific experience handling Superdrug, Boots, or other health and beauty retailers being a significant advantage. Demonstrated success in growing sales, managing P&L, and developing strong retailer relationships. Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of the UK beauty and cosmetics market. Excellent negotiation skills with experience in trade term discussions, pricing negotiations, and promotional agreements. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain high-level relationships with key stakeholders. Ability to analyse data, interpret market trends, and turn insights into actionable strategies. Highly organized with strong project management skills to ensure timely execution of account plans and launches. Demonstrated skills in achieving sales, profitability, and budget goals.
