We have an exciting opportunity for a Sourcing Specialist Fleet and Cash Equipment to join our team, on a full time permanent basis. The role will be for 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, London Office SW1H 0DB based with some home working and with requirements to travel to and work from sites in London as required. To drive economic value to the business as a result of leading the implementation of both regional and local procurement strategies that deliver measurable improvements in cost, quality and service. Work closely with the business units and key stakeholders, ensuring al ignment between the organisation needs and procurement objectives. Be single point of contact and procurement lead for UK Cash Business. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities Supporting the Head of Fleet for ensuring Category Management approach is followed, including:- Helping developing and maintaining high quality category strategy plans o Attending meetings with key stakeholders to agree initiatives & priorities Drive initiatives, from the procurement point of view, to achieve on time and in full delivery Managing Strategic Sourcing projects (in line with Procurement Governance) from strategy development through to sourcing, negotiation and contract award with support from line manager Commercial supplier management of critical strategic suppliers Accountable for ensuring all his/her projects follow the agreed procurement governance and projects managed using nominated systems as appropriate Support the creation and management of large complex sourcing events and negotiation activities with key suppliers, in line with Category strategies, ensuring supply chain solutions meet the business requirements and deliver in-year P&L impacting savings and efficiencies. Help build a clear and creditable opportunities pipeline (minimum 2 year vision) ensuring integration into the Global benefits tracker and demand calendar Work with manager and customers to develop capable stakeholder management skills and abilities to liaise with stakeholders of all levels confidently and autonomously building strong and effective relationships Drive supplier performance measures against which suppliers are monitored within a culture of continuous improvement and best practice, making recommendations to change suppliers where necessary Has a understanding of how eSourcing works and how it can be used in G4S procurement. Provide support in the management and implementation of UK wide supply contracts Ensure full contractual and legal compliance ensuring suppliers perform strictly in line with contractual conditions and legislative requirements; including risk assessments Develop a clear understanding of the business plans/strategies that might impact the category. Ensure regular market testing and benchmarking is performed to ensure the maintenance of market competitiveness, value for money and best practice. Educated to degree level. Good technical Procurement skills – i.e. ability to write and run full and compliant tenders, negotiate and develop contracts with support from manager. Ability to justify savingsand negotiated benefits. Desirable: CIPS qualified or equivalent. Influencing and communication skills, using a range of techniques to best effect. Able to deliver messages effectively at all levels. Ability to negotiate, with good influencing skills.
