Service Management Office Analyst Worcester based with a balance of home and office working £36,680 - £38,611 per year 35 hours per week – Monday to Friday We have an exciting and new opportunity for a Service Management Office Analyst to join our Technology Team based at our Head Office in Worcester. You will assist the Service Office Manager with the effective and efficient management, development and improvement of Service Management Office (SMO) Services to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of high-quality Technology Operations projects and reporting. The mission for our Technology Department is to drive and inspire modernisation whilst enabling our entire community to thrive. Technology is one of the key enablers of our Group's strategy so having the right person to support the successful delivery of modernising our Technology Operations is crucial. This role is based in Worcester and will include a balance of home and office working (3 days in the office and 2 days from home). The role of Service Management Office Analyst will include: Analyse, react to and provide high quality management information to all stakeholders on the Operations Portfolio, as well as specific programmes or project progress to support on-going operational planning Working with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement overall strategic direction for the SMO team, including establishing systems, processes and tools Assisting with the provision of high-quality management information to all stakeholders for all programme or project progress and issues to support ongoing operational planning and delivery including benefits tracking Identifying and providing recommendations for continuous improvement of SMO, including the provision of information and resources, project plans, risk management, communication plans and facilitation activities Contribute, as appropriate, to special projects and change programmes in support of the Group’s objectives Skills and experiences: Experience of managing Project or Service Management Office services for a variety of concurrent medium to large scale projects/portfolios, with an understanding of a full project life cycle Proven experience in working with others to effectively deliver projects Some experience in mapping processes and building tools to support portfolio activities and deliver business needs, including reviewing and improving existing processes and tools Proven experience in analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions Excellent organisational and planning skills Experience of processes, governance, reporting and continuous improvement Why work for us?
