Join us at the intersection of saving and sustaining lives—where your purpose accelerates our mission.
Are you naturally curious and passionate?
We're looking for a motivated business development manager who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to partner with hospital trusts and leverage our digital health and software applications portfolio to enhance outcomes for patients and their caregivers.
Baxter’s portfolio includes solutions for mobile communications, medical device integration, voice-activated communication, waveform visualisation and alarm and alert management—solutions that can help our customers improve patient and caregiver communication, clinical outcomes, and workflows.
You will play a key role in developing the connected care channel, launching new products, and driving new business opportunities that have the potential to transform the healthcare communication market and improve patient and caregiver satisfaction.
This role is field-based, requiring travel across the UK&I.
We’re looking for someone:
* To drive the development of new business and launch new digital software solutions into the NHS (and other countries), including mobile communication, medical device integration, waveform visualisation, alarm & alert management, and more.
* To achieve financial targets and related objectives to ensure the success of digital health solutions in the assigned geographical area.
* To interact confidently with clinicians, IT professionals, and C-Suite executives to discuss health economics and workflow optimisation, gaining access for meetings that drive the business forward.
In this role, you will:
* Bring an entrepreneurial approach with a passion for hunting new business opportunities.
* Be committed to capturing market share from competitors and closing sophisticated sales prospects.
Education and Experience
* Proven experience as a top performer in software direct sales at a hospital or system level; healthcare experience is preferable.
* Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
* Strong solutions selling experience with a history of developing new accounts with early-to-market digital and software solutions.
* Experience growing revenue for a complex portfolio, including new additions.
* Technical understanding of the Healthcare IT environment and familiarity with clinical and medical workflows.
* Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools, with a track record of sales pipeline management and forecasting.
* Strong work ethic, with attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with all levels of customers and internal teams.
* Effective negotiation and closing skills.
Benefits of Working at Baxter
* High importance placed on work-life balance.
* Commitment to growing and developing an inclusive and diverse workforce.
