Essential Duties:
* Greet members and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
* Assist with set-up, decorations and safety checks before events.
* Host and engage children and families in activities, including pool activities, events, camps and holiday events.
* Assist parents signing their children in and out and checking identification.
* Be knowledgeable of and comply with the club standards, policies and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations at all times.
* Ensure knowledge of all children's allergies and special needs.
* Supervise children and use good judgement when in our care. Adhere to all rules regarding young members.
* Assist with handling kids' meals.
* Communicate effectively and inform immediate supervisors of any unforeseen circumstances and react appropriately.
* Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, safety and secure locking of children's playroom.
* Perform other duties as assigned by managers.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
* High School education or equivalent required.
* Must possess CPR and First Aid certification.
* Must have knowledge of age-appropriate activities and enjoy working with all age groups.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with members, guests, clients and employees.
* Must possess excellent communication skills including strong verbal, written, and positive interpersonal skills.
* Ability to get the attention and cooperation from young members.
* Excellent team player with ability to work hands on in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to safely lift items up to 30 pounds.
* Continuous walking and standing.
* Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, pulling and repetitive actions.
