Regional Communications Officer - Wales (0.4 FTE)
Salary: A pro rata salary of £17,998.61 (gross) per annum, with a fixed sum allowance of £1,043.20. The full-time equivalent salary would be £44,996.52, with a fixed sum allowance of £2,608.
This role also attracts a car allowance of £5000 (gross per annum), subject to internal checks.
Location: Bridgend/ Welsh Labour - Cardiff
Duration: A fixed term until 07 May 2027
The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Regional Communications Officer. The post-holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Bridgend Labour Group's digital campaign, contributing to electoral success in 2027.
The successful candidate will have:
* Excellent understanding of the political environment and how to effectively tell a story using digital channels
* Knowledge of using email communications to drive online and offline action, including segmentation
* Experience of developing multi-channel digital campaigns including across Social, Video, advertising, and web
* Ability to balance competing priorities and ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
