Job summary The HSDU at The Royal Oldham Hospital are looking for a self-motivated and reliable individual to train as a Decontamination Technician. You will be joining a busy team to undertake decontamination science duties in providing a specialised decontamination of medical devices service contributing to the clinical care of the patient. Full training will be given in line with the departments ISO 13485 Accreditation, to allow you to assist in the safe and efficient delivery of decontamination services. You will receive continuous development and the opportunity to enhance your career within the decontamination field. You will demonstrate a commitment and interest within the speciality and have proven ability to work within a challenging environment as part of a dedicated team. You will have strong verbal skills and the ability to communicate with staff at all levels, often being the main contact between the HSDU and service users.
