Here at BJF, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our exciting and expanding construction biased business, where YOU can help support the MEP division as a Business Administrator.
Working with a large portfolio of public and private sector clients, our UK based organisation comprises of several divisions including Mechanical & Electrical, Construction, Projects, Reactive, FM, Small Works and other associated trades.
Position
Responsibilities
* Previous experience in administration and management of document control portals
* Utilising our software's; Asite, 4projects & BIM
* Onboarding new suppliers using our My Compliance software
* Supporting buyers on tenders
* Answering incoming calls, taking messages, and following up when required
* Proactively assisting with the smooth running of the office
* Helping promote a positive health and safety culture throughout
* Set up and maintain Document Control systems to meet needs of individual projects/works
* Provide full Document Control support (issuing of controlled documents, specifications and drawings)
* Assisting the Project team with identifying relevant drawings and keeping the drawings register up to date
* Document control and quality check of final MEP project documentation and correspondence in line with procedures, including obtaining and uploading final MEP reports from technical project management teams
* Generation of reports on MS Excel
Requirements
What you'll bring:
* Previous experience in an administrative position/office environment
* A good understanding of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
* Ability to work towards tight deadlines
* Experience in liaising with customers over the phone
