As a Recruitment Coordinator at the British Red Cross, you'll be the main contact for hiring managers and candidates. You'll provide advice and guidance throughout the recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for everyone involved. The focus is on efficient, candidate-centred recruitment and maintaining excellent communication and service. This role is key to implementing the organisation’s talent strategy and mission. Responsibilities
1. Providing high-quality service and advice to managers throughout the recruitment, selection and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience.
2. Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of recruitment processes and systems and proactively identifying areas for improvement.
3. Handling routine recruitment tasks and assisting with problem-solving for out-of-the-norm recruitment cases, adapting to rapidly changing demands.
4. Responding to enquiries from candidates and hiring managers, ensuring all queries are logged, categorised and resolved or escalated as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
1. Effective and decisive communication skills, to provide clear advice and guidance to managers and candidates.
2. Strong organisational and time management skills to efficiently manage and monitor your workload in a competitive environment.
3. Excellent customer service skills with a quality-driven approach, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
4. Good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft 365 applications and applicant tracking systems, to support the recruitment lifecycle and data analysis.
