A leading Textile Manufacturer based in Stroud is looking for a Machine Operator to join their Tennis department. The position is full time on double day shifts, and after training, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join on a permanent contract. Full training will be given due to company processes, but candidates will have a manufacturing or engineering background with machine operating experience.
Key Responsibilities – Machine Operator
* Running your own machine, you will be shown all processes within the plant to become a multi-skilled operative.
* Responsible for the quality of your own work, reporting any defects to your Line Manager/Supervisor.
Qualifications & Requirements – Machine Operator
* Manufacturing experience is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
* Good organiser.
* Sense of urgency.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Must be able to train on Double Days (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm on weekly rotation).
