GBB is a proactive safety company focusing on compliance with a range of products for both the distribution and end-user markets.
Within that we have 2 divisions, 1. BearTOOLS which manufactures and supplies a range of preventative tool lanyards, lockout tagout and spill control products and 1. BearSafety a full range of safety lighting for use in production and industrial facilities across the UK to reduce the number of accidents and near misses that occur within warehouses and on production sites.
THE SPACE
This is a dynamic role identifying growth opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting sales and marketing efforts. This role involves researching market trends, preparing proposals, coordinating meetings, and maintaining client databases. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential for managing outreach, follow-ups, and internal coordination to drive business expansion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development Support
Customer & Pipeline Management
* Follow up with leads, qualify prospects, and support the sales funnel.
* Coordinate communication between sales teams and clients.
* Schedule meetings, calls, and follow-ups to keep deals moving.
* Identify potential new customers through lead-generation activities.
* Analyise various industries to identify needs and requirements by leveraging industry data.
* Delivering on KPI’s tracking and reporting on sales performance and targets
Process Optimisation & Strategy Execution
* Identify bottlenecks in the sales process and suggest improvements.
* Support in implementing sales strategies and new initiatives.
* Research market trends and competitor activities to provide insights
* Customer-facing follow-up as required.
Customer Meeting Planning & Diary Management
* Manage the Sales Director’s calendar, prioritising and scheduling customer meetings efficiently.
* Proactively plan and coordinate meetings with key clients, prospects, and stakeholders attending when the Sales Director cannot.
* Follow up after meetings with action points, next steps, and updates in CRM.
