Job summary This is a specialist epidemiology role in surveillance and response to emerging influenza (including zoonotic), Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), legionella, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, community acquired pneumonia, tuberculosis and other acute or emerging respiratory infections including new coronavirus infections. This role is a joint appointment between the UK Health Security Agency's (UKHSA) Acute Respiratory and Tuberculosis units hosted within the UKHSA Travel Health, Zoonoses, Emerging Infections of Pandemic Potential & Respiratory & TB (TARZET) division of the Clinical and Public Health Group, working closely with information, administrative, clinical, and scientific staff.
