Temp Summer Live-in Nanny in Central London Location: Central London Schedule: Monday 9th – Sunday 15th June Monday 7th – Sunday 20th July Friday 1st/Saturday 2nd – Sunday 17th August 24/7 live-in Start: June 9th, 2025 Children: 8 and 7 years old Salary: £1,400 per week We are seeking an experienced, emotionally mature, and adaptable nanny to support a lovely family during several scheduled periods this summer in both London and the countryside. This is a travel-inclusive, hands-on role for a professional who can integrate smoothly into a busy family environment with ever-changing schedules. The ideal candidate will be: Highly proactive, organised, and responsible Developmentally aware, with strong knowledge of child-led learning and emotional intelligence Able to plan and lead age-appropriate activities and routines Capable of preparing simple, healthy meals following a set plan Discreet, composed, and professional in all interactions Key Requirements: Minimum of 5 years’ professional childcare experience Enhanced DBS (up to date) Paediatric First Aid certified Excellent, checkable references Fluent English speaker (French a plus) Strong initiative and confident diary management Positive, upbeat, and energetic personality Calm and emotionally intuitive, with strong boundary-setting skills Creative and engaging, happy to read stories and encourage imaginative play Comfortable in a limited screen household (including refraining from personal phone use around the children) Confident London driver with a clear UK driving license Must be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles Family provides an automatic car in London and a manual car for countryside travel Pet-friendly This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a kind and respectful family who are looking for someone to bring consistency, warmth, and professionalism to their children's care during the summer.
