CKO International Ltd. is a UK-based leader in vehicle safety solutions, with over 30 years of industry expertise. We provide cutting-edge compliance kits, digital video recorders (DVRs), and other safety products designed to protect drivers and fleets.
Responsibilities
* Field based – 3-4 days visiting customers/network events
* Develop a growth strategy, focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction
* Conduct research to identify new market and customer needs
* Promote the Company’s products/services addressing or predicting client’s objectives
* Establish key account relationships with major clients
* Write commercial proposals and win new customers and business with limited support
* Pitching sales and products to new clients
* Identify, negotiate, and close profitable business
* Manage key strategic partnerships related to Business Development initiatives
* Contribute toward the selling of commission-earning products and services
* Set up a distributor network and negotiate agreements
* Work with the team to deliver and exceed commercial targets
* Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
* Maintain extensive knowledge of the current market
* Drive new business growth in line with the Company budget
* Coach and mentor more junior members of the Sales team
* Support the agile nature of CKO and the wider business, with additional duties as and when necessary
Job Requirements
* At least 5 years working as a Senior Business Development Manager, Business development Manager, Sales Executive or relevant role
* Demonstrable sales experience in the automotive industry – Commercial vehicle dealership, Vehicle converters, Vehicle body builders, OEM, Telematics
* Excellent IT skills (knowledge of a CRM system e.g., Salesforce is desired but not essential)
* Have an acquisition mentality and experience of sourcing and prospecting your own business is essential
* Be motivated and confident in your ability to build current and new relationships on a day-to-day basis
* Offer excellent customer service throughout to build and re-enforce relationships
* Have a keen eye for detail with excellent verbal & written communication skills
* Enjoy working in a pressurised environment with a positive outlook
* Must be self-motivated with drive and ambition
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise & manage time effectively

* Salary – £40K basic + Commission + Bonus - realistic OTE therefore £55K however commission is uncapped
