Tasks
* Using knowledge of statutory guidance and legislation to ensure compliance, including a working knowledge of tribunal process to support with casework.
* Holding timely person centred 'family conversations' as required and handling difficult conversations sensitively, e.g., ceasing EHCPs, sharing panel outcomes and decisions.
* Communicating effectively / respectfully with professionals and schools.
* Preparing case summaries and presenting cases to panel to support decision making.
* Being responsive to quality assurance feedback in relation the EHCPs.
* Proficient use of systems and IT - Capita ONE and other packages e.g., excel/ tracking systems/ social care databases.
* A flexible and responsive approach to calendar planning/ managing workload e.g., managing own caseload as well as undertaking additional tasks as business requires.
