We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Residential Care Team Director to join our team at Joneshouse Recruitment Ltd.
About the Role
As a Residential Care Team Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of carers who provide daily care needs for children aged 6 to 12 in a supportive and homely environment.
The successful candidate will have experience in residential care management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing high-quality care to vulnerable children.
Main Responsibilities
* To lead and manage a residential care team to ensure the physical, emotional, and daily care needs of children are provided.
* To develop and implement effective care plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
* To work closely with colleagues to ensure a safe and supportive living environment for children.
* To maintain accurate records and reports as required by regulatory bodies.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
* A degree in Social Work or a related field.
* Experience in residential care management, preferably with a similar age group.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Able to work effectively under pressure and prioritise tasks efficiently.
* Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing residential childcare.
What We Offer
