We have identified growing our health and wellbeing portfolio as a strategic priority and as a result there has been significant investment in growing our health-related teaching facilities, in the form of our >£13 million new health and wellbeing quarter. In addition, the University has worked in partnership with the SNEE ICB to develop NHS-dental clinical facilities on our Ipswich campus. This is an innovative partnership which will have a positive impact on the oral health of our local community. In early 2024, we completed this development by launching our new BSc (Hons) in Dental Hygiene and Therapy housed within our brand-new Dental facilities in the School of Allied Health Sciences. We are therefore looking to appoint academics to join our expanding Dental Team. The post holders will be part of the lecturing team that will continuously develop, improve, and deliver the BSc (Hons) Dental Hygiene and Therapy provision. You will work closely with our Course Leader and Dean of School, Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning). You will hold current GDC registration as a dental therapist or dentist; hold a relevant higher degree level qualification and have experience in delivery of oral health education in the higher education setting.
