Your role will be to proactively assist the social workers to manage their caseloads, whilst the social workers retain overall responsibility. You will work with and under the direction of the Social Worker and in line with agreed departmental standards and procedures with the aim to reduce office based social worker admin time. We can offer you a genuinely varied and responsible position, together with the opportunity to play a supporting role in the Children and Families Branch. You will need a positive and flexible approach to teamwork as well as the ability to confidently and competently work on your own initiative, sometimes under pressure. You will have highly proficient IT skills, particularly Excel as well as NQF level 2 qualifications at grades A - C including Maths and English. This position will require you to use your excellent communication skills for frequent contact with members of the public and professional agencies.
